Refinement of manners, habits of obedience, order, neatness of the person and dress, and punctuality are required at all times. During class hours silence is to be kept in the corridors. Order and silence are to be observed when going from one class room to another, when entering the class room after assembly and when leaving the class at the recess or at the end of the working day.
All the students must be present for the assembly in the morning and observe silence. Prayers must be said with respect and devotion.
During the absence of the teacher, the monitors will be responsible for the discipline and order of the class
No collection of any kind whatsoever shall be done, and no meeting, party or picnic or any kind of organised school activity shall be arranged without the previous approval of the Principal.
The Handbook issued to every student at the beginning of the year is to be kept intact and neat all through the year, and brought to School every day. It is the means of communication for the school authorities and staff with the parent about their ward. At the same time it is an important document of the student’s performance and conduct at school. The Handbook should be replaced, once it gets lost. When it is lost and not replaced immediately, the student will be fined for replacement.
Any kind of damage to the school property must be immediately reported to the Principal, and must be rectified through the proper channels.
Reading materials like books, newspapers, periodicals etc. not prescribed in syllabus may not be brought to school without the previous sanction of the Principal.
The school is not responsible for books, money, cloths etc. Students must take care of their own possessions. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles to school. Students are not allowed to bring mobile in the School. Once it is caught, it will be given back only after the final Examinations.
The school tuition fees are collected for the academic year of the school which is divided into Four Quarters. All the school fees are due in advance and should be paid quarterly, half yearly, or yearly, on or before the 15th of the months (June, September, December and March). Fees will be accepted in cheques only and it has to paid directly in the Bank.
If the fees are not paid on or before the due dates, a fine of Rs. 2-00 per day of default will be charged. After the last date for payment of fees with fine, the defaulter’s name will be removed from the rolls. The student may be readmitted at the discretion of the Principal only on payment of the admission fee. This case will be considered a new admission.
Students of Class X and XII should have paid all their dues including the fees of the last quarter before their first Preliminary Examination.
No student shall be allowed to take final examination, without having paid all the dues connected with library, laboratory, Scout and others, if any, in the month of March.
The Quarterly fees once paid will not be refunded on any account. The students will be required to pay the school fees for the whole quarter and no partial payment will be accepted in any case. Parents may keep the receipts safely for the future reference till the end of the academic year.
The Principal/Management has the right to increase the tuition fees, and also to introduce any kind of additional fees even during the course of the academic year as and when the need arises.
Parents and guardians are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline, encouraging their children or wards to prepare their lessons and take due care and interest in the activities of the School.
Since learning is a continuous process, the daily attendance of the students is a must for their satisfactory progress in studies. Home-works will be taken into consideration for promotion.
Parents should see that their children study at home regularly. Serious and steady home study is essential for real academic progress and final success. A student in the High School class should put in four to five hours of serious study at home everyday, while the one in the primary class, devote at least three hours for studies a day.
Parents and guardians are informed of the daily reports, if any, from the school about the conduct and studies of their wards through the Handbook. They are expected to take note of the reports and messages with their countersignature, and to confer with the Principal, and through him with the teachers concerned. Students who fail to show to the school authority these remarks and reports countersigned by their Parents, are liable to be punished and sent home.
Nobody is allowed to meet the students or the teachers during the school – hours without the permission of the Principal. The teachers can be contacted in their off – periods, recess time, and before or after the school – hours with a prior appointment.
Private tuitions are banned. No teacher is allowed to tutor his/her own students or students of classes where he/she teaches. (Cfr. The Gujarat Secondary Education regulation, 1974, Rule No. 32 Clause (2) (a) and (b).
Parents and guardians are requested to notify the school office in writing of any change in their address or telephone number. In all communications with the school, the name, standard and the division of their children should be clearly mentioned. The school Management, Principal and Staff should not be held responsible in any way for any accident or mishap that may occur to the student in the school premises even during the school hours. Students suffering from ailments of any kind should not be sent to school.
80% attendance is compulsory for appearing in the Final Board Exams. Besides the regular tests three terminal examinations will be held for High School and Higher Secondary sections. For Primary section two semester examinations and four unit tests will be held. The students shall not remain absent in any examination except for reason of serious illness in which case a medical certificate should be submitted to the school through the class teacher concerned.
Any kind of malpractice in the examination is punishable with expulsion from the Examination Hall and subsequent cancellation of the paper or the whole examination.
Examination or tests cannot be deferred nor can they be anticipated to suit individual conveniences. No reexamination will be conducted in any subject. Absence from or failure in a subject excludes a student from being reckoned in the order of merit.
Within a week of sending the result of the Semester Examination to the parents in the handbook, they are welcome to consult the subject teacher or make out the defects and common mistakes committed by their children in the answer sheets by going through them. Parents are welcome to meet the teachers on all Saturdays, immediately after the class hours.
The passing percentage and promotion rules of the school are as per the decisions of the Department of education of the state of Gujarat.
The result of the terminal examinations will be given in the Report Card of the School Hand Book which should be countersigned by the parents/guardians. The annual result of the academic year shall be collected from the respective class – teachers, by the parents as per the Result Schedule which will be put up on the School Notice Board before the Annual Examinations.
